YOUTH SEWING & EMBROIDERY

Students learn basic hand and machine sewing skills to use in the design and execution of fiber arts works. Embroidery stitches are taught with an emphasis on how to use the form as a drawing tool. Other sewing techniques including pattern-making, fashion design and execution are also explored.
